• Dr. Phyo Thu Aung  entered the academe right after earning his Baccalaureate Degree in Chemical Engineering. He taught with the Fuel and Propellant Department of the Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University as an Associate Professor before finally focusing on managing the environment and social aspects of various infrastructure projects in Myanmar.
• He is responsible for supervision, in charge for preparation of IEE and EIA reports and studies of environmental projects, reviewing the environmental reports, technical plans and studies, and guiding the staffs for their assigned works, advising on environmental and social survey aspects, site investigation and baseline data collection of infrastructure projects, facilitation of public consultation meetings, to name a few. Also involved in working for assigned JICA, ADB and IFC projects.
